Summer Project: Breaking through the lines

This summer I worked further on my exploration into portraiture.  I found out that the back of sketch pads and paper pads is super fun and easy to draw on. I did this piece with colored pencils, and while I really like the composition, I want to work on the craft of the pencil and making it a more cohesive and smooth picture.
